Green Wednesday is the cannabis industry's second-biggest shopping day of the year, taking place annually on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

The unofficial holiday began around 2016–2018 when dispensaries and delivery services noticed a major surge in pre-holiday sales as people stocked up for long weekend gatherings.
